Christopher Dirdal

Christopher Dirdal works as a Research Scientist at SINTEF Microsystems and Nanotechnology in the micro-optics group, working with metasurfaces and piezoelectric microelectromechanical systems (piezoMEMS) among other topics. He has a theoretical background in electromagnetic theory as related to metamaterials, and received his PhD in 2017 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) for the doctoral thesis “Metamaterial Effective Parameters”. In 2012 he received his Master’s Degree in Nanotechnology also at NTNU.
